Description
There are "Ballade I" and "Ballade II" for marimba, each of which has the same basic structure, but there are slight differences in rhythm and register. "Ballade I" was composed for a 5-octave (C-C) marimba, and "Ballade II" for a 4.3-octave (A-C) marimba. The piece is composed in three parts: fast- slow- fast. In contrast to the powerful and rhythmical fast part, the slow part is a lyrical ballad. I would be happy if you could reflect your own story in this piece.
Range: 4.3 octaves (A-C)
Duration: approx. 3'45"
