The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Charlie Puth: a predominant vocal style is *semi-staccato*.

Pitch inflections (slurred notes) should be played very quietly. Play softly, pianissimo.

"Hero" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. It is easy to count for beginners; accent strong beats.
