This arrangement of Antonio Vivaldi’s “Winter, 2nd Movement” from The Four Seasons follows the same structure and musical flow as the original. The solo instrument performs the beautiful and lyrical original violin part, while the piano accompaniment combines elements of the string orchestra and harpsichord to preserve the elegant Baroque character and rich harmony of the music. Some passages have been shifted by an octave to suit the range and characteristics of each instrument. The highest note is E5.
