The contemporary sacred piece “Amor Dei” by Koo Ja-cheol is presented here in a lyrical duo arrangement for solo instrument and piano. The arrangement reflects the original composition as closely as possible, preserving its melodic and harmonic character. The solo instrument performs the vocal melody line, allowing the expressive contours of the song to be clearly projected. Meanwhile, the piano accompaniment takes on the remaining orchestral elements, shaping the harmonic foundation and supporting melodic lines originally heard in the orchestra.
