Autumn Leaves (Clarinet Ensemble)-Joseph Kosma

Autumn Leaves | Clarinet Quartet

Music by Joseph Kosma · Arranged by paganic

The wistful melody of “Autumn Leaves” takes on a warm, intimate character in this arrangement for three B♭ clarinets and bass clarinet.

A reflective opening leads into a light swing, bringing gentle motion to the song’s familiar sense of longing. The melody passes between the first and second clarinets, while flowing inner lines and a resonant bass create a conversation among all four voices.

Blending lyrical expression with playful rhythmic touches, this arrangement offers a fresh perspective on a beloved jazz standard—evoking autumn memories through the rich, mellow sound of the clarinet.
