aiwanese indie game development team Puff Hook Studio collaborated with the band Good Band to create the theme song "Buried" for the game Recall: Empty Wishes. The single was released in June 2024 as a teaser for the upcoming PC version of the game on Steam!
Recall: Empty Wishes is a suspenseful, story-driven 2D side-scrolling game. The story revolves around the wishes and memories of the protagonist siblings. Players will control the older sister, traversing a corridor of memories to uncover the truth behind her brother's disappearance.
It's worth noting that while Recall: Empty Wishes presents a suspenseful and thrilling atmosphere, a deeper look reveals the story to be a tragic one.
The original theme song uses a simpler arrangement to construct a delicate inner world, utilizing sound elements such as microphone effects, background noise, and reversed audio processing to echo key items and the importance of the timeline in the game.
With the development of the story, we can better understand what each character has buried. Therefore, we are very much looking forward to the release of the game Recall: Empty Wishes!
