These were my thoughts making this piece and what I was trying to convey. Although I completely stand behind people making their own meanings behind art.
This Lullaby is about forgetting or loss in general. I am 16 at the time of making this and my grandma is suffering from late stage Dementia. I wanted to convey this feeling of loss and forgetting. In Part A I was showing the early signs of Dementia or Alzheimer's you have the beauty of memory demonstrated by the chords. The forgetting is still there though, shown by the the falling notes in measure four and eight. Moving to part B you have the hope of ones self getting better but the truth still lies. Part C is late stage Alzheimer's and Dementia you remember the parts you want but you fall further and further down until you remember nothing at all.
