Description
"My Jesus, As Thou Wilt" was written in 1704 by Benjamin Schmolck, a devoted German pastor. He penned this spiritual confession while reflecting on the Lord's obedience in Gethsemane amidst his own severe trials, including a village-wide fire. The lyrics are not a sign of resignation, but a profound worship of the highest order, acknowledging that God's good will is superior to our own plans and desires. In 2026, for those discouraged by situations beyond their control, this hymn offers true peace. God's will is always good. I hope this sheet music becomes a channel for a graceful performance that trusts in His guidance and fully surrenders to Him. His will is the safest path for our lives.
I have uploaded the sheet music in the key of Ab as requested. Please note that the video features a different key.
