"Thinking of Someone Alone" (一個人想著一個人) by Pets Tseng is the iconic ending theme of the 2012 Taiwanese drama "KO One Return 2," written and composed by Alex Chang Jien. The song dominated multiple digital charts upon release and reached 3rd place on the 9th KKBOX Music Awards Top 100 Mandarin Songs chart. The chorus famously uses the word "one" (一) seven times to evoke a deep sense of loneliness and longing. Combined with Pets Tseng's emotionally restrained yet heartfelt vocal delivery, this ballad has become one of the most beloved and enduring Mandarin love songs of the past decade. The song marked a turning point in Pets Tseng's career, transitioning her from drama actress back to her roots as a singer.
