Pathetique 2nd Movement (Piano Sonata No. 8) (for Piano Quintet)-Ludwig van Beethoven

This piano trio arrangement of the second movement from Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 8 “Pathétique” preserves the elegant melody and harmonic richness of the original work. To enhance playability, the key has been transposed from A-flat major to A major. While maintaining the original structure, additional notes and harmonies have been incorporated to create a fuller chamber music texture. The violin part reaches 5th position, and the cello part uses up to 6th position.
