Today's song is a chord progression that you've might be heard a lot because, it's used in a lot of songs. It's a chord progress that is used a lot in popular songs including jazz.
The same goes for CCM.
So it's going to feel very familiarity.
The first two bars are the key chord progression. Proceed to 1-6-2-5 (One-six-two-five, I – VIm – IIm – V). You've heard a lot about 2-5 (two-five, II-m-V), right? It's an extension of that. Because it is in the form of A-A'-A", the chord progression from beginning to end of the song is the same.
The reason why we proceed with the same chord is that it can show better how to apply it.
