Praise on the trumpet (손을 높이 들고) - CCM

IF there is only one chord in one bar, you must be pretty confused. Even further, if there is only one chord in 2 bars, It's even worse. This song "Praise on the trumpet" has one chord in 2 bars. 

Today, I will teach you how to transmit the chords in this situation. Do you remember I said to use the 1 transitional? If you have to play C for 4 beats, play it like C for 2 beats and C/E for 2 beats. 

I tried a different method, not the first transitional in this song. There are three methods fit in with the melody. 

First, Proceed to E - Eaj7 - E7

Second, Proceed from A to Am

Third, Proceed to E - A/E - E

The first method is line cliche, second is subdominant minor, and third is Amen fine (I already talked about first and third one so you should look for it) I want you to play how it goes and try to get used to it as much as possible, not studying terms. This way, you will understand much faster when you have to explain the theory. Also apply the the first and third method to A and apply the second method to E. 

Apply these methods to other songs! 

People might think it's easy to play with fewer chords, but most of accompanists do not what to do with this so they tend to fill in with a strange rhythm. If you look at the video and the sheet music I have played, the basic rhythm is still there. Do not fill in the odd rhythm, but keep it with the basic. Then, you can apply the chords change. 

Another thing to share is that this song is shuffle. You will the mark on the first part of sheet.
