Pianist Andrea Caruso is from Italy. He had his first piano lesson at age nine, with M° Paola Angelozzi before studying with Professor Sara Budini in the Conservatory "Luisa D'Annunzio" in Pescara, graduating with the highest grades. Winner of an Erasmus scholarship he studies in Spain with Professor Miguel Angel Herranz in the Conservatory "Joaquin Rodrigo" in Valencia. He continued his piano studies with Prof. Ines Mangiullo and Monaldo Braconi, while working on his chamber repertoire with Marco Grisanti in the Conservatory "Lorenzo Perosi" in Campobasso. While there, he obtained another Master in Performance with honors. Andrea has also been a pupil of pianists Konstantin Bogino, Laura Pietrocini, Vladimir Ogarkov and Svetlana Bogino in the "Accademia Internazionale di Musica" in Rome. He got his Artist Diploma certificate at the Schwob School of Music in Columbus, first studying with Professor Tatiana Muzanova and then with Dr. Henry Kramer. Here, he also focuses on chamber music with Professor Wendy Warner and Dr. Lisa Oberlander. He also briefly studied with Dr. Carol Leone at Southern Methodist University in Dallas (TX). In 2022 he got his diploma in Interpretation with Bernt Wilhelmsson at the Högskolan för scen och musik in Göteborg, Sweden. Andrea has participated in various masterclasses, given by teachers such as Valentina Berman, Mats Widlund, Evgeny Rivkin, Orazio Maione, Michele Marvulli, Bruno Bizzarri, Francesco Nicolosi, Gianluca Luisi, Vlad Dimulescu and particularly Alexander Kobrin. He holds a Bachelor in Philosophy from the University "Gabriele D'Annunzio" in Chieti (Italy) and has performed in Italy, Spain, Sweden and United States. As a teacher, his experience ranges from beginner students (both young and adult) to advanced, and he has been giving lessons both privately and private academies in Italy and the U.S.A.. He has been teaching at St. Luke School in Columbus (GA) and working as a staff pianist at the Schwob School of Music in the same city.
