A twelve-note scale and a metered sheet music isn't capable to express the sound of “Swim” with its layered vocal and digitally generated inflections.
The track is transcribed in the original key, C Minor, and uses two extended till the seventh degree major and minor chords E♭ and Cm. There is a drone on D tone played throughout the track.
Its cyclical chord change (loop) highlights melodic development.
Extended chords show that an alternative harmony was added over to create a unique sound.
“Swim” is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats.
Imitate vocal delivery by Mitchel Cave of Chase Atlantic: a predominant articulation is staccato.
I didn't add the rap part in the second verse, it's too arhythmical.
