재즈 랭귀지 학습에 도움이 되는 악보를 판매합니다. 이론적 접근이나 단순히 그 이론을 바탕으로 제작한 학습 자료의 12키 반복도 중요하지만, 결국 모든 이론은 재즈 역사 속 대가들의 연주가 축적된 결과물입니다. 그렇기 때문에 그들이 남긴 음악적 유산을 자신의 악기로 직접 느끼고, 상대음감·머슬 메모리·이론·시각·촉각 등 다양한 감각을 결합해 학습하는 것이야말로 재즈를 ‘언어’처럼 체득하는 가장 효과적인 방법입니다

처음에는 연주하기 쉬운 4~5개 키부터 시작하는 것을 추천하지만, 재즈 스탠더드를 폭넓게 소화하기 위해서는 결국 12키의 모든 2-5-1 진행을 익혀야 하므로 어느 하나도 소홀히 할 수 없습니다

또한 피아노·기타 등 화음 악기라면 라인(Line)과 보이싱(Voicing)을 의식적으로 분리해 탐구하고, 다시 결합해서도 탐구해야 합니다. 늘 치던 방식만 반복하면 사운드의 확장은 이루어지지 않습니다. 익숙하지 않아 손끝에 ‘뚫리지 않던’ 어색한 촉각이 느껴지는 그 길을 결국 뚫어내야 새로운 사운드가 열립니다.

Theoretical study and simply practicing 12-key exercises based on those theories are important, but ultimately, all theory is just a structured summary of what the great jazz masters have played throughout history. That’s why truly learning jazz as a “language” comes from experiencing the musical legacy they left behind on your own instrument

(combining relative pitch, muscle memory, theory, sight, touch, and various sensory elements into one integrated learning process)

I recommend starting with 4–5 keys that are easy for you to play.

However, to fully handle jazz standards and build a wide repertoire, you eventually need to master all 12 keys and every 2-5-1 progression—none of them can be neglected.

For harmony instruments such as piano or guitar, you should consciously study lines and voicings both separately and in combination.

Repeating the same familiar patterns will never expand your sound. You must break through those unfamiliar, resistant sensations in your fingertips—the path that once felt “blocked”—to open up entirely new sonic possibilities.
