Built upon the rhythmic character of the original song, this arrangement reimagines the piece with a chamber-jazz approach suitable for live ensemble performance. The vocal melody’s intricate rhythms have been carefully simplified to create a smooth and natural instrumental flow, allowing the melody to sing clearly within the trio texture. Because of these adaptations, the arrangement may differ noticeably from the original recording, offering performers a fresh and accessible interpretation of this timeless standard. The required positions extend up to 1st position for violin and 5th position for cello, allowing expressive phrasing within a comfortable technical range.
