Takaaki Sekiguchi
【Biography】
Born in Tokyo in 1987. Graduated at the top of his class in the Composition Program at Shobi Gakuen University. Completed the Master’s Program in Music Expression at the Graduate School of Arts and Information Studies as a special scholarship student with full tuition exemption.
Studied composition under Koichi Sakata, Shinya Takahashi, and Subaru Kawashima, and music theory under Yoshihiro Yasuhiko and Megumi Yamashita.
【Profile】
He has received commissions for composition and arrangement from TV programs, Sony artists, numerous orchestras, and corporations.
He was responsible for the string arrangements for piano performances at a fashion show produced by YOSHIKI. Since then, he has continued to create string arrangements for dinner shows and other events.
Currently, while active as a composer, arranger, and conductor across a wide range of genres, he also mentors the next generation of musicians nationwide.

【来歴】
1987年東京都生まれ。尚美学園大学作曲コース実技首席で卒業。同大学院芸術情報研究音楽表現専攻を学費全額免除の特待奨学生として修了。
作曲法を坂田晃一、高橋伸哉、川島素晴、音楽理論を安彦善博、山下恵らに師事。
【略歴】
TV番組やSonyアーティスト、数々の楽団や企業から作曲や編曲の委嘱を受けている。
YOSHIKIプロデュースのファッションショーにてピアノ演奏のストリングスアレンジを担当。その後もディナーショーなどでストリングスアレンジをした。
現在は多岐にわたって作編曲家としてまた指揮者として活動をするかたわら、全国で後進の指導にも当たっている。
