悬想 (Remembrance)

S.E.N.S.  

This piece of music appears in the Japanese anime "Genji Monogatari Sennenki" ("The Tale of Genji: A Millennium-Old Journal: Genji"), which premiered in January 2009. Back in 1979, artist Waki Yamato adapted the Japanese literature "The Tale of Genji" into manga. Then, in 2008, Japanese animation director Osamu Dezaki and his team decided to animate it. The following year, the animation was broadcast on Fuji TV. The animation is based on the Heian period in Japan and tells the love story of Hikaru Genji, son of Emperor Kiritsubo. Japanese new age instrumental group, S.E.N.S. Project, composed music for the anime.
