“Cool”

The track is transcribed in the original key, C Major, and uses basic major and minor chords C Dm F Am G. C/E is used in the bridge's riff.

The chord change is cyclical.

“Cool” is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats but do it softly.

Avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning; you will fail immediately and abandon the score.

The left-hand texture is thick and makes great use of the bass register.

The right hand imitates vocal delivery by Gracie Abrams: a predominant articulation is tenuto non-legato.

Pitch inflections (slurred notes) are played quietly. Notice the accent marks >.

In the second file I added the backing vocal on a separate stave. Don't play it on piano, it's for the second singer.

The aesthetic value of a track is based on Taylor Swift's formula: one-note melody + basic harmonization in C Major.
