"Holidays"

The track is transcribed in the original key, C Major, and uses basic major and minor chords C F Am G. The harmony is very simple, as you can predict when you see that Dan Nigro is the producer. Simple music for simple people.

The vocals are typed using a 𝄠 suboctave clef (the treble clef with the numeral 8 below it). Play the right hand one octave lower than written if you wish.

I doubled note values to make sightreading easier for beginners. The track isn't recorded in the 2/2 time.

"Holidays" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats but do it softly.

The left-hand maintains movement in the choruses.

The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Conan Gray: a predominant vocal style is legato.

The aesthetic value of a track is based on the using of the same motive in the verses and choruses. Max Martin told Conan gray to do it but I wish he did not.
