This song is in the 5th album, but I haven't introduced it all yet. I've saved a lot of money haha. I played it three times. The lyrics are written in verse 1, 3, 5. Please keep that in mind. I've got so much to tell you, I've checked the video, but If I explain it in detail, it's too long, so I'll explain it briefly. 

First of all, the intro and the outro! Isn't it amazing? It's simple, but it's very effective, so try it out. The intro starts by repeating the first verse, "My Lord's Blood" twice. 

It seems to repeat the same thing, but the left-hand range is different and the number of right-hand voicing is different. It feels like a little kid has grown up to be a big kid. Rather than understanding what chord you used as an outro, it's a good idea to think that you can feel like this way. Find the bVIImaj, bVImaj7 chord at the desired key for practical application.

For example, in C key, the bVIImaj chord is the Bbmaj chord, and the bVImaj7 chord is the Abmaj7 chord. One more thing I want to say in the intro is the use of tension b9 in the su4 chord. The tension nine sounds perfect for the su4 chord. I like to use the B9 note from time to time. I don't know how you feel. You all know how to find the 9th note of tension in Bb7sus4, right?

The first note of Bb chord is Bb, or 'Tib'. The ninth note is the same as the second, so it'll be "do."~ Nine is 'do', and nine is 'dob'='Ti'. There are some places where I wrote tension 9 notes and tension B9 notes. I marked it, so make sure to compare the sound~ :)

And, you're always curious about the re-harmonization. I want to give you a tip. Imaj (1 note major) can be replaced with IIIm (3 note minor) and VIm (6 note minor) chord.

Function is the same. It's called tonic. I think it's going to be a long time, so I'll skip this explanation. 

Anyway, it's Ebmaj for Imaj, Gm for III, and Cm for VIm.

So these three chord can be switched. For hymns, the beginning of the chorus is Imaj, which is the Ev chord. By the way, I changed it to Cm. Refer to the first verse, 15 bars, and the second verse, 31 bars. 

So... why is the third verse, 47 bars, Abmaj7?

Think of this as favoritism between the majors. We're the majors. We're the same kind. Haha

Imaj7 (1 note major) can be replaced with IVmaj7 (4 note major) chord. In Ebkey, Imaj is the chord of Ebmaj and IVmaj is the chord of Abmaj. In the old days, the chorus started naturally with Imaj. There are some songs that start with IVmaj these days, or the bridge is IVmaj. 

The conclusion of the re-harmonization we talked about today is that Imaj can be changed to IIIm and VIm. Imaj can be exchanged with IVmaj. But you can't change the III and VIm to IVmaj. There are other re-harmonization chord, but that's it for today.
