本曲改編自經典客家歌曲〈客家本色〉，融合兩種風格迥異的爵士語彙，勾勒出獨具風格的音樂景貌。 開頭採用 Bossa Nova 節奏，營造出悠然輕快的氛圍，象徵客家文化中溫和而堅韌的生活哲學； 第二段則轉為充滿律動感的 Swing 風格，銅管與木管的呼應與對話，不僅增添層次，也象徵客家族群在現代社會中多元發展、兼容並蓄的精神風貌。 透過爵士語彙的重新詮釋，《客家 BO SWING》嘗試搭起傳統與現代、民謠與爵士之間的橋樑，展現客家音樂全新風貌與無限可能。
