Come, Thou Almighty King (ITALIAN HYMN) (Congregational Worship Arrangement (G, F, Eb keys)) Hymn 3 (The Celebration Hymnal)

This is an arrangement of the majestic and timeless opening hymn, "Come, Thou Almighty King" (Tune: ITALIAN HYMN). Within most traditional church service formats, this piece is heavily utilized as an opening introit or call to worship to announce the Lord's presence. Because it is highly specific to the beginning of the service, it has historically been quite difficult to find various rhythmic or experimental arrangements for this particular song.
With that practicality in mind, I constructed this score to remain strictly melody-driven and highly suitable for supportive congregational singing during Sunday services.
If playing the standard four-part vocal blocks straight from the traditional hymnal has started to feel a bit stagnant or repetitive for your ministry, introducing this freshly reharmonized version will be a beautiful way to usher in a renewed acoustic texture to your sanctuary.
Alongside the traditional G major, I have provided comprehensive transpositions in F major and Eb major to ensure a more accessible, comfortable reading experience for accompanists and an easy vocal range for your congregation.
