While there are many different renditions of Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel, this version cut straight to the point. It consists of 5 sections; each holds a different idea that build-up to the famous violin melody, and fades out to the octave leap passage.
This arrangement is labeled with rehearsal markings and chord symbols. It could be an excellent song choice to practice scalic passage and a good introduction to a 1-5-1 left-hand accompaniment, which is essential in piano playing. Suitable for Grades 2-4.
