"Ready For Love" is a promo song for a mobile devices' video game, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. It has a heterophonic texture — the instrumental part provides both a harmony to support the vocal and its own melody. You can hear that dum-dum-dum pattern if listen to the track carefully. To mark the melody in the left hand I diminished the size of accompanying notes.

Piano is an instrument that can play a melody and an accompaniment simultaneously but press the upper notes louder.

Regarding the structure, it is worth noting that the second verse doesn't use the vocal melody from the first first verse, but uses the instrumental part intact. It is something I love in pop-production; it gives you the sense of a new audio, of development in a song without the song becoming unfamiliar.

To compensate the unfamiliarity of the second verse Blackpink uses the long pre-chorus; together with the chorus the pre-chorus constituted 50% of the track.

The key F-sharp Major has six sharps, all keys but the B and E# are black. The chorus is colored blue for your convenience.
