Canon in D (for Cello and Piano)-Johann Pachelbel

Johann Pachelbel’s timeless Canon in D is arranged here for solo instrument and piano duo, faithfully preserving the original structure and progression.

The solo instrument presents the main melody with clarity, while the piano accompaniment performs the basso continuo and counter-melodies, supporting the steady harmonic flow that defines the canon form. This arrangement highlights the piece’s calm elegance and is well suited for weddings, recitals, and classical repertoire at an accessible level.

Required playing positions are Violin up to 3rd position, Viola up to 4th position, and Cello up to 7th position.
