Andrew Tan

“Open Wound” is a powerful new single by Andrew Tan (陳勢安), released in July 2025 as part of his “Love Song Horoscope” series. This British-style rock ballad explores the pain, regret, and growth that come after a broken relationship. The lyrics—full of imagery like “never separated,” “too fragile,” and “scars that won’t heal”—depict the helplessness and emotional wounds left by love’s promises. The song is also the theme for the LINE TV miniseries “The Day We Should Have Died,” intertwining music and drama for a deep emotional resonance. Andrew Tan pours his personal experiences into every note, making “Open Wound” one of the most relatable and talked-about Mandopop ballads in recent years.
