I like Keith Jarrett’s playing, so I made a score of it. ♪
It’s one of the pieces from his solo piano album The Melody At Night, With You. Originally a jazz standard composed in 1934 by Oscar Levant with lyrics by Edward Heyman.
It’s a romantic ballad that expresses the immaturity of youth and the bittersweet ache of blind love.
Keith Jarrett’s performance is in the key of F and has a refined quality, but the score I created this time is in the original key of E♭, giving it a warm, heartfelt character.
