This is an upgraded arrangement of the globally cherished Thanksgiving classic hymn, "Far and Near the Fields Are Teeming" (Tune: REAPERS / THE FIELDS). I have completely reshaped the structure into a smooth, warm lyrical ballad style, offering an elevated acoustic texture compared to previous editions.

With its triumphant proclamation of gratitude and harvest, this hymn is an absolute staple for autumn Thanksgiving services and covenant celebrations.

While the traditional key signature is G major, which can sometimes feel high for standard congregation ranges, I have prepared transposed versions in the lower keys of F major and E major to provide a more comfortable and stable vocal range for your church.

Since the primary goal is to fully support congregational singing during main corporate services, it remains highly melody-driven, ensuring the right hand clearly defines the lead line. However, I have completely reharmonized the predictable, monotonous traditional triads into deep, sophisticated contemporary chords to beautifully lift the atmosphere of your sanctuary.

As a crucial performance note, please keep your left-hand bass touches soft and gentle. Suppressing the left-hand volume is the absolute key to unlocking the warm, sweet, and comforting ballad textures built into this piece.
