Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine (Congregational Worship Arrangement (D, C, Bb keys)) - Hymn 345 (The Celebration Hymnal)

This is an arrangement of the globally beloved hymn, "Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine." This piece has incredible potential for various adaptations, such as a steady 4/4 shuffle or a fast-tempo modern worship track. Once my current traditional hymnal arrangement series is wrapped up, I plan to roll out several alternative versions, including faster and more upbeat renditions!

For congregations that prefer a slightly lower and more comfortable vocal range, I have also prepared transposed versions in the keys of C and Bb major.

I would like to share an important performance tip regarding the last line: the chord progression used in measure 14 might sound somewhat unfamiliar or unique to your ears. To keep the sheet music clean and approachable for beginner accompanists, I purposely simplified the written chord symbols instead of using overly complex technical names.

As a result, if you play freely based only on the letter symbols, it may conflict with the sophisticated voicings built into the notes, causing a strange dissonance. Please use the chord symbols merely as a general guide, and I highly recommend playing the exact notes written on the staff. This arrangement was carefully designed to enrich your worship experience while preserving the reverent beauty of the lyrics. ^^
