This is an arrangement of the beloved classic hymn, "I've Found a Friend, O Such a Friend." The original key is Ab major, but I have also prepared it in lower keys (G and F major) to provide a more comfortable vocal range for your congregation.

In the demonstration video, I played in the key of G major—keeping the first part traditional and clean as written, and transitioning into a freer, more expressive arpeggio-driven ballad style for the latter half.
While the original hymn traditionally features dotted notes (a shuffle-like feel), I have intentionally removed them in this arrangement to create a smooth, flowing 8-beat rhythm that enhances its warm and comforting nature. Interestingly, during actual worship services, congregations adapt beautifully—singing with a bounce when played with dotted notes, and flowing smoothly when played in an even 8-beat style. It’s wonderful how well they follow the accompanist's lead! (Though, please note that choirs requiring strict timing and part-singing shouldn’t bend the rhythm like this! Haha.)
Since the primary goal is to support congregational singing during main services, it is highly melody-driven. Please note that since this is not a traditional four-part harmony arrangement, it is not suitable for choir accompaniment. However, it is absolutely perfect for solo piano accompaniment during church services, or as reflective background music for silent meditation and prayer before worship begins. I created this with smaller churches in mind, hoping a single piano can deliver a profound and abundant worship experience.
