This is an arrangement of the beloved, joyful hymn, "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder." Because it is so energetic and widely loved, it has been arranged in countless musical styles and complex rhythms over the years.

For this specific arrangement, I focused strictly on supporting congregational singing during main worship services. The melody line is highly emphasized so that everyone can follow along easily, and I paired it with a bright, familiar "shuffle rhythm" that brings a cheerful energy to the sanctuary.

When rearranging fast hymns, using overly complex or heavy jazz chords can sometimes become a distraction from the worship experience. Therefore, I intentionally kept the reharmonization minimal, carefully placing refined chords only where they were truly needed to enrich the music without being overwhelming. ^^
