Passacaglia in D minor (Formerly J.S. Bach BWV Anh.182 Passacaglia in D minor)-Witt

This is the "Passacaglia in D minor," a piece that was once cataloged as J.S. Bach's work under the number "BWV Anh. 182." It is currently attributed to Christian Friedrich Witt.

This arrangement is carefully crafted to bring out the full resonance of the piano, capturing both the solemnity of Baroque music and the poignant, beautiful melody.

Note on Variation 18:

In Variation 18 [18], the voicing has been slightly modified to ensure the melody resonates with maximum clarity and natural flow.

Note on the Score:

A footnote regarding the former catalog number "BWV Anh. 182" is included at the end of the score for the convenience of those searching for it as "Bach's Passacaglia."
