This is a live concert recording of my students performing "A Town with an Ocean View" from Studio Ghibli's Kiki's Delivery Service.
To help beginner students perform confidently on stage, the arrangement was adapted for an easy-level ensemble:
Student-Friendly Arrangement: Easy enough for beginners to join the stage. Violin 2 can even be played by simply taking the first note of each measure if needed.
Live Accompaniment Note: In the sheet music, the violin melody and piano carry an interactive call-and-response. For this live performance, however, the piano doubled the main melody to help lead the young students and keep them on track.
Repeated Bars (13 & 31): To give the students enough time to transition smoothly from pizzicato to arco, measures 13 and 31 were repeated twice during the actual live performance.
Please note that the audio was recorded live at the venue, so raw room noise and natural stage ambience are included.
