🔠 The key is A Minor albeit the verses gravitate toward E Minor.
Chords are Em F Dₘ Aₘ G. Most of the chords have alterations to hide simplicity of chords' functions.
🎤 The vocals are typed using the 𝄠 suboctave clef (the treble clef with the numeral 8 below it). Play the right hand one octave lower than written.
🔢 “Possession” is composed with a straight rhythm in the common time. Accent strong beats. There is the strong double feel: the instrumental part seems twice faster (doubled) than the slow vocal line.
🤚🏼 The left-hand maintains movement. It is very easy to learn when you practice hands separately.
🖐🏼 The right hand imitates vocal delivery by Melanie Martinez: the predominant articulation is tenuto but clearly separate phrases.
⏳The outro runs into the last measure of the chorus, and the chorus runs on the outro and has two voices. To avoid three voices in one measure, I decided to add one more measure and write the chorus and the outro separately.
