The track is transcribed in the original key, E Flat Major, and uses a wide array of harmonic and non-harmonic chords. I think too many chords overshadow melodic development but creates an easily recognizable sound profile of the track.
“Youth” is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. Some triplets are used in the second verse. Accent strong beats. The downward broken melody in the post-chorus (여긴 너와 나의 youth) reminds me of the Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" pre-chorus (I'll let you set the pace 'cause I'm not thinking straight).
The left-hand maintains movement with ostinato.
The right hand imitates vocal delivery by Lee Know of Stray Kids: a predominant articulation is staccato.
Focus on precise rhythm. It is tiring to play with forte touch; play pianissimo.
The melody is build to surprise, to attract attention with its a rapid flow and sudden changes of direction.
Much of the song’s aesthetic value is generated through stepwise motion that reminds of human speech.
