Bach's famous Air from Orchestral Suite No. 3 as a true duet for violin and cello at intermediate level (about 3–4 years of playing) — no piano needed.
In D major, Bach's original key, with his repeats and 1st/2nd endings; about 4–5 minutes at a calm wedding tempo (eighth = 60).
Often called "Air on the G String" after Wilhelmj's 1871 C major violin version; this edition keeps Bach's D major.
The violin plays Bach's first-violin melody complete, with its ornaments and the closing trill.
The cello is a real second voice, not a drone: Bach's walking bass combined with lines from his second violin and viola, answering the melody wherever it holds.
Violin up to 3rd position (A4–C6); cello up to 3rd position, bass clef only (D2–E4).
Fingering at every shift and extension; slurs, articulation and dynamics marked in full.
Score 2 pages, each part on one page — no page turns.
Perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, recitals and string duos.
Includes: Score + Violin part + Cello part.
