Autumn Leaves (solo transcription)-Massimo farao

This is one of the albums I always assign my students to transcribe from. Even within a single chorus, Massimo Faraò's solos have a clear sense of development, telling a complete story from beginning to end. What I especially love is his ability to make the piano "speak" through his phrasing, along with his highly melodic lines. I think it's a wonderful example for learning how to build a jazz solo and develop strong phrasing. The solos are also concise and approachable, making them an excellent transcription project for students who are just beginning their jazz journey. 🎹✨
