How much that love (그 사랑 얼마나) Kyeonguek Seol

Its the song called How much that love. I changed the intro a little bit. The melody is the same, but the chord is slightly different. I played the last chorus quietly. I've repeated the part of "나를 감격하게 하는지"
If you look at the intro again, it's a repeat of a root motion, which is a bass note. Root motion refers to the progression of a chord in which the root proceeds in one direction at half-sound or warm intervals. It doesn't matter what kind of chord you make out of the notes on the root.
Root motion is the movement of the root, so just look at the root.
We're talking about re-harmonization, how we made the intro, how we changed harmony
Are you following me well?
Intro is a very long root down G - Dm/F - Em7 - Cm/Eb - G/D - G/B.
After that, there's another root motion.
It's just like the original song.
Am7 - Bm7 - Cmaj7 - D7 - G
It's going up so fast.
There's one more thing I want to look at. It's when you repeat it at the end. Usually, after finishing with I Major (1 Degree), take a VIm7 (6 Degree) and connect to the next chord. This song is G-key, so if it ends with G Major (1 degree), we're going to play Em7 (6 degrees) to repeat it.
It's very common, so if you play the last part with an Em7 chord, not a G-maker, people understand, "Oh, you're going to repeat it."
If you look at the score, it ends with G Major in 44th bar, but it ends with Em7 in 53th bar.
I mean, you want to repeat it even in the first place. Use it when you have a pre-arranged or likely to repeat the guide.
And then, Em7 used A7 (#11) for the next chord, which is my favorite sound. If you liked this chord, let's memorize it. Memorize 53 bar and use them in other keys. You can memorize the exact sequence of the singing, and play it as it is without hitting the range. The ad-lib in Em7 is directed to the A7's #11 note, and the A7's #11 note is the voicing located in the top note.
There's a lot of harmonic meaning in here. If you're curious about what we're going to talk about, come in.
It's an alien musical term. You can pass it if you do not like to know.
G Major is median bar. Em7 is decéptive cádence. A7 is V7/V, Em7 is VIm7 and V7/V is Related IIm7. So the relationship between these two is II - V. And since Am7 is Delayed Resolution, A7 is addressed by the following Cmaj/D (=D7sus4).
But, even though you dont know the Harmonics, just keep playing it, and if you apply it to other songs, it becomes yours. It's more important to know the sound and the progress. There are a lot of people who can't play at all even though they know Harmonics, and they are only aware of theory.
