🎤 The vocals are typed using the 𝄠 suboctave clef (the treble clef with the numeral 8 below it). Play the right hand at written pitch but sing one octave lower than written.
🔢 “Father Figure” is composed with a straight rhythm in the common time. The bridge uses triplets. Accent strong beats.
I doubled note values to make sightreading easier for beginners in the 'EASY' pdf.
🤚🏼 The accompaniment has s compound polyrhythm: it's funky and syncopated but rather slow tempo.
🖐🏼 The right hand imitates vocal delivery by Swift: the predominant articulation is staccato. There are many fast-tempo spoken lines.
