The track is transcribed in the original keys, C Minor modulated to D Minor in the chorus and in the A Minor in the coda.

Friction between melody and harmony leads to a blurring of the harmonic center.

Extended chords show that an alternative harmony was added over to create a unique sound.

The progression is static and lacks a prominent cadential gesture.

“Something Beautiful” is composed with swinged rhythm in triple time, I notated it as 9/8. Accent strong beats.
