Away in a Manger (Lyrical Arrangement (G, F, Eb keys)) - (UMH 217 / BH 285)

This score was created in response to requests for the ballad-style portion (starting at 0:45) of my congregational arrangement video. Although the lyrics are the same as hymn #108, the melody is distinct. The original key is F Major, and I have provided versions in G and Eb Major for vocal flexibility.

This arrangement is specifically tailored for congregational singing. It emphasizes the melody and intentionally avoids complex jazz chords that might distract from the lyrics and the worship experience. Please note that this is not a traditional 4-part (SATB) choral arrangement, so it is best suited for solo piano accompaniment during worship services or as background music for pre-service meditation. I designed this for churches without a full praise band, aiming to provide a rich sound that can fill the space with just one piano.
