Description
Made of Earth, from the fourth chapter of Thomas Bergersen's album series "Humanity" ("Humanity - Chapter IV", released in 2021).
- Composed by Thomas Bergersen. Arranged for two pianos by Clint Su.
- “Made of Earth” is one of the four “Made of XXX” from the album "Humanity - Chapter IV", based on the “Earth” element in the Four Elements theory. This chapter is about universe and space, science and mystery, existentialism, human culture collaboration, and our home planet: the earth. The Four Elements theory is an ancient Greek theory about the composition of matter in the world. The four elements are Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. This view has influenced human science development for a long time, and it still can be found in some modern religions. In “Made of Earth”, drumbeats and brass depict the vigorousness and powerfulness of the element of “Earth”.
- I arranged this piece in two pianos to catch the epic sound effects in this piece, and show them with unique sound of piano.
- This arrangement is quite difficult to play; appropriate simplification recommended for performing as needed.
- Sheet music of each piano part also attached in the file.
- Full video available on YouTube; audio available on mainstream music platforms.
