Give Thanks (Special Performance 3-Stave Sheet Music (Key of G)) - Henry Smith

"Give Thanks" was written and composed by Henry Smith in 1978 and has become one of the most beloved modern hymns in churches worldwide. Even in the desperate situation of losing his eyesight at the time, instead of blaming his circumstances, he wrote this confession while looking at the grace of God who "made the poor rich." This confession of gratitude, blooming in the midst of hardship, is not just a sentence of the lips but a great resolution of a believer to place every moment of life under the Lord's sovereignty. In 2026, we live in an era that seems affluent yet is spiritually impoverished. However, this hymn opens our eyes to gratitude once again. Even when what we have is lacking or when we feel weak, we truly taste true wealth when we acknowledge that the Lord is the Master of our lives. I have collaborated with the PT Yoon Ministry family on this recording project. It is a joy and an honor to work together.
