"Day by Day" is a masterpiece born from the music of Swedish hymn writer Oscar Ahnfelt and the lyrics of the great Swedish hymn poet Lina Sandell. Lina Sandell, having witnessed her father's tragic drowning as a child, experienced deep sorrow but found profound faith in God's faithful protection through that pain. This hymn is not merely a slogan to overcome hardship but a confession of faith that every breath we take is only possible through God's care. For over 150 years, it has offered comfort to countless believers worldwide, serving as a true sanctuary for weary souls. The Lord goes before us as our Shepherd, preparing paths we cannot yet see. It remains one of the most beloved hymns in the Korean church, serving as a pledge of devotion. In the wilderness of life, this song is a peaceful spiritual refuge, reminding us of the blessing of walking with the Lord.

A subscriber requested a special arrangement, so I have arranged this CCM piece in a traditional hymnal accompaniment style. The first verse is composed in 4-part harmony suitable for choirs, while the second verse is reharmonized, making it more suited for solo or congregational use.
