Description
In the demonstration video, I played this hymn in the key of D.
For the first verse, I played exactly as written on the sheet music. For the second verse, I stepped away from the score and played a freer, more expressive arrangement. (During the second verse, I repeated the last 4 measures while experimenting with different chords!)
Because I received requests for the sheet music of the second verse, I went ahead and created a ballad version!

This arrangement is thoughtfully designed specifically for congregational worship during main services.
Therefore, it is highly melody-driven. I reharmonized it with modest chords so as not to distract from the beautiful and meaningful lyrics.
Make sure to play the left hand softly and gently to bring out the sweet, calming sound intended by the arranger. ^^
Interestingly, this hymn is often sung by children as well.
The original key is Eb major. To accommodate different vocal ranges and make congregational singing more comfortable, I have also prepared arrangements in lower keys (D and C major).
