Today is "Our Lord the Good Shepherd", arranged in four versions.
1. The original ver. (Eb key) 0:00
2. Re-harmonization ver. (Eb key) 0:53
3. Jazz ballad ver. (Eb key playing twice) 1:45
4. 16-beat rhythm ver. (D key playing twice) 4:06
The notable version is "Jazz Ballad" and a new version of "16-beat Rhythm."
I was going to do a special episode for Family Month, but It took me days to make music and videos, so I'm finally letting you hear it. It takes a lot of effort to complete a song like this.
I wrote down the lyrics, "방초 동산," but there's no "방초 동산" anywhere in the hymn. Turns out, the first verse of the 방초 동산 turned into a 푸른 풀밭. It seems like something's changed, but... It's like I'm certified as an old man.
I played it six times in total. The original and re-harmonization versions were played once in an 8-beat rhythm. For the ballad version, played twice, but tried differently. I played it like a jazz ballad.
if you just play the music, you can easily miss the pedal, and long phrase. And I repeated the last "항상 인도하소서." I hope you get some tips when you repeat.
I also played the 16-beat rhythm version twice. This is a new version.
When young people want to change their traditional hymns, they change the rhythm to 16 beats and sing the melody. It's Family Month, so if we worship together, I think the accompanists are changing it after much consideration...
It's a traditional song for adults, so you can avoid the hard hymns for young people. It's 16 beats all of a sudden, so I asked you to practice in advance so that you don't get flustered. If you don't practice, it turns into a song that's unfamiliar to everyone. If you change it completely funky, you might not be able to use it in real worship. I kept it in 16-beat rhythm and gave it a bit of a blueish vibe.
The 16-beat rhythm version is likely to be sung with a lower key, so I prepared a D key.
One more thing: I played the hymn melody once, and the second one was out of the melody. For those who want to escape the melody, I prepared this for those who don't know what to do.
With a chord tone, you can make your own melody. However, this is just a theory, and I think it would be good to practice it with your ears while playing it.~
Hope to be reborn as the Moon of Lovely Family~ :)
