The original key is Bb, and I have also transposed it to lower keys (A and G) for your convenience.
The demonstration in the video is played in the key of Bb.
For the first run, I played it exactly as written in the sheet music.
For the second run, I departed from the score and played it in a free, expressive style.
This arrangement is specifically designed for congregational worship during main services.
It focuses heavily on the melody, ensuring the left hand does not redundantly follow the melody's repetitive notes.
Instead, the left-hand accompaniment is arranged to emphasize the beat, bringing out the natural flow of the 6/8 time signature.
Please note that because this is not a traditional 4-part (SATB) hymnal style, it is not suitable for choir-led anthems.
However, it is perfect for churches that rely solely on a single piano for accompaniment, or for quiet meditation and prelude before the service begins.
This project was created with churches in mind that might not have a full worship band (session) or choir.
Even with just a piano, you can deliver a rich and expressive musical experience. I pray this brings deeper grace and inspiration to your worship.
The first part of the video is played strictly according to the sheet music, and the second part is a free interpretation.
