This song was released as a single by soprano Eun-Kyung Kim in 2024. It was written based on Zephaniah 3:17, a verse that both Ms. Kim and I deeply love.
I spent two days arranging the music, transcribing the score, recording the accompaniment, and singing every part to create a praise guide track for the women’s ensemble at Palm Church. Even though I was tired, I was happily busy doing it all by myself.
After recording every vocal part, I sat down on the studio sofa and listened to the finished recording. Suddenly, tears began to flow uncontrollably.
God’s Word came alive within me, powerful and active. It felt as though God’s own voice was surrounding me and gently embracing me.
My prayer is that everyone who listens to and sings this song will experience the same grace—the grace of being held, comforted, and embraced by God through His living Word.
May the truth of Zephaniah 3:17 come alive in each of our hearts through this song.
