이 곡은 《O!RUL8,2?》 앨범의 타이틀곡인 'N.O'의 연장선상에 있는 곡이며 'N.O'에서 현실의 부조리를 비판하고 공격하는 목소리를 담았다면, 'ON'에서는 그러한 현실의 부조리를 수용하면서도 그것에 굴하지 않고 이겨내겠다는 메세지를 전달하고 있습니다.

방탄소년단의 그룹명의 의미와도 연관성이 매우 깊은데요~ 정말 흥미롭습니다.
